Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Orlowski (ranked 4291 p4p, 0 weight class) and Short Badass (ranked 3521 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlowski goes for a double leg but Badass avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Badass continues to drive forward.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Orlowski gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Orlowski apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Badass might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Orlowski from any more punishment! Orlowski complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
