The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis cracks McGregor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Davis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McGregor's head backwards.
McGregor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Davis.

McGregor needs to keep his hands up - Davis had a free shot at his head there.
Davis moves into range and connects with a jab.
McGregor is rocked!

I was talking to McGregor's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Davis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

McGregor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Davis lands a left hand that snaps the head of McGregor backwards.
Davis lands with a short punch from the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonathan Davis dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
McGregor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oh McGregor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A frustrated look appears on McGregor's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Davis takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

A less than humble Jonathan Davis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
