Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keates throws a series of punches but Beaudry moves out of range.
Beaudry with the counter takedown but Keates avoids it easily.
Keates comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Keates misses with a wild body shot.
Beaudry feints the counter takedown.
A combination from Keates does no damage.
Keates fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

It looks like Patrice Beaudry has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keates fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Keates throws a looping overhand right but Beaudry ducks down to avoid it.
Beaudry drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Keates defends it well.

Beaudry scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Beaudry is looking to take a break and control but Keates is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Keates wants to control but Beaudry postures up.
Beaudry works to advance to full mount. Keates defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Beaudry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Keates knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beaudry on the ground.
Keates is controlling an arm, preventing Beaudry from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Beaudry trying to control but Keates is having none of it.

Keates tries to lock up and control but Beaudry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Keates has given up his back. Will we see Beaudry going for some submissions?

Beaudry working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Keates is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Beaudry has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Keates taps out!

A pretty intense looking Patrice Beaudry took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
In defeat, Connah Keates stepped up to the mic, saying 'great fight to the victor i just didnt come prepared today .. ill be back ... would like to tahnk the boyz at beach also for the oppertunity'.
