The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pakhomov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Camara ducks right into an uppercut from Pakhomov.
Camara takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Pakhomov clinches with his opponent.
Pakhomov fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Camara has Pakhomov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pakhomov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Pakhomov cracks Camara with a nice body shot.
Pakhomov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Camara or not.
Camara wants to take the fight to the mat but Pakhomov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Camara is breathing heavily.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pakhomov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Pakhomov goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Pakhomov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Camaras head.
Camara is working for takedown but Pakhomov is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baakir Camara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pakhomov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pakhomov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pakhomov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Camara shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Pakhomov to counter with a crisp jab.
Pakhomov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pakhomov lands a jab to the head.

Pakhomov darts in and clinches Camara up against the cage.
Camara has been working on his balance at Gimnasio di Heritage Nel Culo, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Pakhomov.

Pakhomov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pakhomov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Camara on the side of the head.
Camara drops his hands momentarily and Pakhomov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pakhomov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Camara takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pakhomov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pakhomov lands a left and a right that send Camara crashing to the mat, dazed. Pakhomov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Camara is rocked!

Pakhomov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Camara to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Camara looks to clinch but Pakhomov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Camara taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
