Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Maximus Ukkeli (ranked 14343 p4p, 248 weight class) and Slade Traylor (ranked 1049 p4p, 43 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Maximus Ukkeli has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Maximus Ukkeli seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
29 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slade Traylor!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traylor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ukkeli misses with a kick to the body.
Traylor misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Ukkeli to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Slade Traylor has been cut.
Ukkeli stalks Traylor and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Traylor's face. Traylor staggers backwards, shaken.
Ukkeli throws a head kick but Traylor moves out of range.
Traylor was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Traylor ducks under a wild hook from Ukkeli.
Ukkeli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Traylor looks to throw the jab but Ukkeli is out of range.
Traylor throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
enabling Ukkeli to counter with a crisp jab.
Sloppy strikes from Traylor. Those never looked like landing.
Ukkeli fires out a quick counter leg kick but Traylor just manages to avoid it.
Traylor misses with a hook
and Ukkeli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Traylor misses with a series of wild punches.
Ukkeli was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ukkeli lands a nice leg kick that just misses Traylor's sensitive parts.
Traylor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ukkeli attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

and Ukkeli counters with a nice uppercut.

Ukkeli scores with a jab. Traylor acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Traylor checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Traylor looks to score with a jab to the body but Ukkeli is just out of range.
Ukkeli looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Ukkeli throws a nice outside leg kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Traylor digs a good hook to Ukkeli's body.
Traylor tests Ukkeli's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Traylor counters with a two punch combo.
Traylor throws the left hand but Ukkeli avoids the punch easily.
Traylor lands with a good body shot.
Ukkeli ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Traylor misses with a looping right.

Traylor flicks out a counter leg kick but Ukkeli steps away.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Traylor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Traylor checks a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Maximus Ukkeli will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Slade Traylor's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ukkeli tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Traylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Ukkeli.

and Traylor counters with a stiff right hand.
Traylor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Traylor tries to move into range but Ukkeli moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ukkeli uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Traylor.
A big left from Traylor misses.
Ukkeli bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Traylor's head backwards.
Some bone on bone action there as Ukkeli checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ukkeli scores with a decent looking hook.
Traylor misses with a double jab
and Ukkeli counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Ukkeli paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Traylor throws an off balance right hand
and Ukkeli counters with an outside leg kick.
Traylor is breathing heavily.
Traylor on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ukkeli explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Ukkeli scores with a hook to the body. Traylor takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Nice straight punches there by Ukkeli. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ukkeli.
The cut above Slade Traylor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ukkeli cracks Traylor with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Traylor is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Traylor is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Traylor could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Maximus Ukkeli!
Maximus Ukkeli decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
