Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josh Turner (ranked 1805 p4p, 87 weight class) and Maximillian Lydon (ranked 2300 p4p, 114 weight class). Turner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Next Episode by Dr. Dre. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maximillian Lydon!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lydon shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lydon shoots for a double leg takedown but Turner sprawls well. He's pushed Lydon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lydon fails to land the takedown.
Josh Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximillian Lydon.
Lydon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Turner is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lydon frees his head nicely. Oh but Turner has switched to an armbar! Lydon is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
