The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masta is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yingwen Taizong gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Yingwen Taizong fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Yingwen Taizong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Masta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pikachu Masta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yingwen Taizong cracks Masta with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Yingwen Taizong fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Masta on the side of the head.
Masta drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Masta takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Masta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Yingwen Taizong tries to clinch up but Masta circles away and keeps his distance.
Masta is looking for the big counter here.

Yingwen Taizong tries to clinch but Masta is having none of it.
Yingwen Taizong feints a jab promting Masta to slip. Yingwen Taizong then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Masta slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Yingwen Taizong scores with a sloppy right hand. Masta should have avoided that one.
Nice combo by Yingwen Taizong ! Oh, that's hurt him - Masta falls to the canvas and Yingwen Taizong follows him into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yingwen Taizong in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Yingwen Taizong is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Masta looks calm but he's in trouble here. Yingwen Taizong gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Masta is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Yingwen Taizong lets go of the hold and Masta can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ogedei Yingwen Taizong !
A relieved looking Ogedei Yingwen Taizong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
