PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kieth Patton (ranked 8472 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexzander Juul (ranked 5859 p4p, 0 weight class). Juul is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sia - Unstoppable. Alexzander Juul has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juul tries to clinch but Patton is having none of it.

Juul feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Patton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Juul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Juul manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Patton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Juul can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

and Patton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Patton.

Juul turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Juul manages to end up in side control.

Patton sneaks out the side door and pushes Juul away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Patton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Juul wants to stand and escape but instead Patton has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Juul shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Patton is trying to defend but Juul finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
