Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khatib Nurmagomedow!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stanley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stanley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nurmagomedow looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Stanley is trying to keep Nurmagomedow in close.
Stanley is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Nurmagomedow is standing up over Stanley. Stanley looks to escape but Nurmagomedow dives into side control.
Nurmagomedow just content to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stanley looking for a sweep but Nurmagomedow has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Stanley wants to hold on but Nurmagomedow pushes him away.

Nurmagomedow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nurmagomedow postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stanley looks a forlorn figure.

Nurmagomedow pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Nurmagomedow lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Nurmagomedow is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stanley to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stanley shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nurmagomedow has isolated one of Stanley's arms. Stanley looking to fight him off but Nurmagomedow twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
