Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimi Loiri (ranked 7045 p4p, 208 weight class) and Raymond Kim (ranked 5210 p4p, 176 weight class). The key to victory for Kimi Loiri has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimi Loiri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Kim!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Loiri gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kim to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Loiri is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kim looking to pass the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loiri wants to get back to his feet but Kim is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kim showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Loiri has control of Kim's left arm, preventing Kim from doing any damage.
Kim wants to stand but Loiri has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kim slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Loiri gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Loiri moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Loiri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kim has managed to get both his arms back between Loiri's legs - danger averted.
Loiri has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kim has passed into side control.
Kim tries to move into full mount but can't pass Loiri's legs.
Loiri is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kim's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kim with the ground and pound but Loiri uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Loiri lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Loiri trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Loiri will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Loiri works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Loiri with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Kim wants to get back to his feet.

Kim wants to get back to full guard.
Loiri trying to control the action but Kim is working from the bottom.
Loiri wants to free his trapped foot but Kim is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Loiri is taking a breather. Kim says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Loiri drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kim can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kim is trying to improve his position.
Loiri remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loiri wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy.

Loiri wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kim, who protects the arm well.

Kimi Loiri overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Loiri looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kim is avoiding damage well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kim is pushing Loiri's head away, looking to escape. Loiri manages to hold on to the position though.
You can see the frustration on Kim's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kim is looking to regain half guard here but Loiri keeps moving and retains side control.
Kim tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Loiri throwing strikes here but Kim is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loiri throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Loiri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kim is breathing heavily.
Loiri just content to control the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Kim tries to sprawl but Loiri drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kim is looking for a sweep. Loiri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kim trying to control from the bottom.
Loiri is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kim can do to turn this around?
Loiri works his foot free and advances to mount.
Loiri unloads with some shots from mount but Kim bucks and avoids them well.

Kim wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Loiri.
Loiri looking to control and managing it successfully.
Loiri throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kim because Loiri loaded up on that one.

Loiri looking to ground and pound but Kim is blocking nicely.
Kim is looking to improve his position but Loiri isn't that keen on the idea.
Loiri controlling the pace for now.
Kim is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Loiri content just to control the position here.

Loiri is working for a guillotine from mount but Kim frees his head quite easily.

Loiri looking to control but Kim is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Loiri thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Loiri controlling his opponent.
Loiri unloads with some shots from mount but Kim bucks and avoids them well.
Kim wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
You can see the frustration on Kim's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Loiri has good solid back control here.
Kim has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Loiri.
I would not like to be Kim right now.
Even with his hooks in, Loiri manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Kim defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Kim is trying to defend against the choke here but Loiri has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Loiri Tightens the hold and Kim taps out furiously! Loiri displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kimi Loiri!
In defeat, Raymond Kim stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm gonna cry on your ass bitch!'.
