The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biagio throws a head kick that Savage semi-blocks.
A swing and a miss from Savage.
Savage swats away the attempt to clinch by Biagio.
Savage lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Biagio tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Biagio tries to close the distance and clinch but Savage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Savage looks to land a right hand but Biagio moved out of range.
Savage throws a right hand that Biagio ducks under and follows up with a left that Biagio also avoids with ease.
Biagio fails in his attempt to clinch.
Savage takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Savage throws a poor cross that misses
and Biagio counters with an inside leg kick.
Savage feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Biagios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Biagio tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Biagio throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Biagio lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Biagio tries to clinch but Savage is having none of it.
Savage goes for a double leg but Biagio avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Biagio continues to drive forward.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Savage circles away from the clinch attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Savage! But no joy.
Biagio tries to clinch there but Savage circles away.
Biagio plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Biagio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Savage swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Savage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Biagio scores with a body shot.

Savage bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Biagio! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Alessandro Biagio has been cut.
Savage with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Biagio is rocked!
Savage arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Biagio's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
