Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liquid Voyage (ranked 1608 p4p, 212 weight class) and CM Punk (ranked 3404 p4p, 398 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Liquid Voyage has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Liquid Voyage seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Liquid Voyage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, CM Punk!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk throws a sloppy head kick and Voyage moves out of range easily.
Voyage tries to clinch but Punk is having none of it.
Punk raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Voyage blocks a head kick by Punk.
Punk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Voyage throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Punk stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Punk misses with a head kick.
Voyage scores with a jab to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Punk thows a left - swing and a miss!
Voyage misses with an uppercut.
Voyage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A slow jab from Punk misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Voyage misses the target.
Voyage lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Voyage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Voyage misses with a body shot.
Punk misses with a head kick.
Voyage moves into the clinch.
Punk stalls.
Voyage misses with some punches.
Punk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Punk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Voyage defending well as Punk loads up on a big left hand.
Voyage tries to clinch up.
Punk goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Voyage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Punk swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Voyage cracks Punk with an open hand slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Punk scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Liquid Voyage has been cut.
Voyage tries to clinch but Punk is having none of it.
Punk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Voyage scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Voyage works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Punk is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Punk.
Voyage works Punk's body with a nice hook.
Voyage tries to clinch but Punk moves out of range.
Punk ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from Punk.
Voyage catches Punk with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Voyage is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Punk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Punk throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Voyage counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Punk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Punk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Voyage.
Punk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Voyage paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Voyage scores with a nice strike.
Punk is still on wobbly legs! Can Voyage finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Voyage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Punk, pushing him back against the cage.
Punk seems to have recovered his senses.
Voyage lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Punk breaks from the clinch.
Voyage cracks Punk with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Punk falls to his knees and Voyage doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liquid Voyage!
