Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Steve Robles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jure Jelenko!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robles throws a leg kick
and Jelenko counters with a three punch combo that has Robles backing up. Robles nods at Jelenko to acknowledge the strikes.
Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jelenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Robles wants to clinch.
Jelenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Robles tries to clinch but Jelenko is having none of it.
Despite the aggression on Jelenko's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Robles takes the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robles tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Robles prevents a takedown attempt there.

Robles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jelenko wants to clinch up but Robles keeps it at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Robles closes the distance and clinches.
Jelenko tries to break free but Robles pushes him back against the cage.
Robles tries to work over Jelenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Robles ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Robles no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jelenko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Robles keeping moving, preventing Jelenko from controlling successfully.

Robles has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jelenko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Robles has tightened it up now! Jelenko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
