The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into Golden's guard.

Golden is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Williams defends well.
Williams wants to stand but Golden is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Golden can't keep his opponent in guard - Williams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Williams is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Golden!

Williams is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Golden can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Golden is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Williams loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Golden scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Williams land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Williams stands and salutes the crowd.
