Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emet Golem (ranked 885 p4p, 131 weight class) and Artur Syrowatka (ranked 1672 p4p, 244 weight class). Syrowatka has chosen Slash - Nothing to Say as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golem lands a glancing blow to the side of Syrowatka's head.

Syrowatka wants to land a leg kick but Golem is out of range.
Good exchange - Golem coming out on top.
Golem looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Syrowatka lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Golem backs up against the cage.
Golem tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Syrowatka was well out of range. Poor timing from Golem.
Golem lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Artur Syrowatka has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Syrowatka scores with the left hand. Golem knows he should have avoided that one.
Golem lands a slapping body shot.
Golem connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Syrowatka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Golem bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Syrowatka's head.
Syrowatka moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Syrowatka throws a nice looking combination but Golem bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Syrowatka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Golem loads up on a big right hand but Syrowatka slips the punch.
Sloppy strikes from Syrowatka. Those never looked like landing.

Golem lands a nice hook to Syrowatka's body. Syrowatka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Golem lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Syrowatka goes down and covers up as Golem starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

A relieved looking Emet Golem thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
