Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Azimaku Renile (ranked 5897 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriano Caio (ranked 5942 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caio lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Renile moves into the clinch successfully.
Caio wants to take the fight to the mat but Renile manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Caio is trying to pull guard but Renile has him pressed against the cage.

Renile escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown attempt by Caio or perhaps it was just good defense by Renile, which made it look bad.

Renile lands a knee to the body.

Renile pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Caio enables Renile to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Caio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Renile drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Renile jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Renile has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Caio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Renile is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Renile is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Caio defends well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Caio wants to control from the top but Renile keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Caio dives in and grabs Renile's left leg, looking for a takedown. Renile pushes down on Caio's head and hops out.
Renile throws a big counter combination but Caio scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Renile tries a head kick but it misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Renile crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Caio - the referee stops the clock and Renile gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Caio. Renile manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Renile avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Renile seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Renile throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Caio.

Renile has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Caio clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Renile is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Caio defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Renile has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Caio has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Renile decides to return to a standing position.
Caio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
It looked like Renile was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Renile throws a leg kick which misses Caio's front leg but catches the back leg as Caio tries to avoid it.
Caio slaps away a takedown attempt from Renile, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Caio.
Renile takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Caio misses with a few strikes there.
Caio displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Renile.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Caio is defended easily by Renile.
Renile throws a push kick but Caio slaps the foot to one side.
And Caio tries to counter it with a takedown but Renile pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Renile dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Caio. That did some damage!

Caio wants to clinch up but Renile keeps it at a distance.

Renile closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Renile thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Caio's head.

Caio manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Renile keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Renile is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Caio can do to turn this around?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Caio has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Renile avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Renile throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Caio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Renile is in Caio's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Azimaku Renile will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Renile is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Caio can't fight it off and eventually Renile manages to take the fight to the floor. Caio looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Caio has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Renile off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
