Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jones (ranked 26 p4p, 2 weight class) and Koba Wyatt (ranked 163 p4p, 15 weight class). Wyatt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Channel Zero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Koba Wyatt!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones missing with a left hand there. Wyatt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wyatt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Jones was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Wyatt had a free shot at his head there.

Wyatt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wyatt.
Wyatt tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Koba Wyatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looked like Jones was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wyatt.

Wyatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wyatt finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Wyatt fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
Jones is looking to land body kicks.
Jones is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Jones might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wyatt throws a combination that misses
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Jones motions for Wyatt to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wyatt unleashes a big counter combination but Jones bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Jones cracks Wyatt with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wyatt to stand back up!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wyatt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Jones will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Jones counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wyatt! Jones lets Wyatt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Jones is stalking Wyatt. Wyatt circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Jones, and it's lights out! Wyatt really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Jones!

Jack Jones spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
