Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akoni Gray (ranked 187 p4p, 26 weight class) and Neil Gilas (ranked 359 p4p, 50 weight class). Gilas has chosen Remember The Name - Fort Minor as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Neil Gilas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray moves out of range as Gilas throws a body kick.

Gilas feints and then cracks Gray's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gray down.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gray has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gray and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akoni Gray.
