Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Steve (ranked 4261 p4p, 336 weight class) and Cody Chalke (ranked 4133 p4p, 331 weight class). Steve's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Justin Bieber ft. Ariana Grande - Let Me Think Bout You. Chalke comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Operation Blade kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Cody Chalke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalke cracks the inside of Steve's front leg.
Chalke looks to score with a jab to the body but Steve is just out of range.
As Chalke looks to move away, Steve throws a big counter combo but Chalke just gets out of the way.
Chalke looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Steve seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Steve closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Steve misses with the head strike.
Steve effectively controlling the action here.
Chalke changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Steve fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Steve checks a leg kick.

Chalke's coach down at Gorilla Warfare Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Chalke's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Chalke feints and then cracks Steve's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steve down.

Steve rushes Chalke and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Chalke is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Steve can't fight it off and eventually Chalke manages to take the fight to the floor. Steve looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cody Chalke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steve seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

and Chalke counters with a nice low kick that buckles Steve's knee momentarily.
