The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hepple loads up on a big right hand but Umarov slips the punch.
Umarov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hepple defends well and Umarov ends up having to push Hepple into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hepple appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Umarov tries to clinch up but Hepple pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Umarov to the mat! Umarov covers up and Hepple unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Ronnie Hepple was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
