The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case keeps the fight on the outside.

Case is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Nelson with a body shot.

and Case counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Nelson badly! Case follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Nelson out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Case finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Basket Case!
A relieved looking Basket Case thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
