Billingsly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: What's up Your's. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Lance Billingsly enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentley tries to clinch there but Billingsly circles away.

Billingsly swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bentley is now in Billingsly's guard. A big mistake from Billingsly there, giving up the dominant position!
Billingsly has his hands on Bentley's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Billingsly is on top in guard.

Billingsly sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bentley's guard.

Bentley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Billingsly is fending him off so far but Bentley persists. Nope, Billingsly circles away and we're back to standing.

Billingsly changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bentley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Billingsly is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bentley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bentley is not content to let Billingsly control the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Billingsly tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Billingsly is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bentley's half guard.

Bentley pushes Billingsly off and gets back to his feet.

Billingsly forces Bentley back against the cage and clinches.

Billingsly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bentley shoots in looking for a takedown but Billingsly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bentley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bentley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Billingsly avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Billingsly seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bentley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lance Billingsly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh but Billingsly is tightening it up a little... Bentley has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bentley reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bentley taps out! Nice BJJ there by Billingsly!
