Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James B. Grossweiner (ranked 708 p4p, 89 weight class) and Lance Legstrong (ranked 750 p4p, 98 weight class). Legstrong has chosen Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legstrong misses with a body shot.
Grossweiner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Grossweiner clobbers Legstrong with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Legstrong misses with a looping left.
Grossweiner looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Legstrong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grossweiner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A low kick from Grossweiner misses
and Legstrong counters with a straight right hand.
Grossweiner throws a hook to the side of Legstrong's head but Legstrong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Legstrong misses the jab.
Grossweiner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Legstrong sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It seemed like Legstrong was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Legstrong throws a sloppy body shot
and Grossweiner counters with a one-two to the body.
Grossweiner tries to move into range but Legstrong moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Legstrong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grossweiner was well out of range. Poor timing from Legstrong.
Grossweiner appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Legstrong lands a slapping body shot.
Legstrong slips a straight right by Grossweiner.

Legstrong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grossweiner sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Legstrong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Legstrong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Grossweiner misses with a right hand
and Legstrong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Legstrong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Grossweiner.
Grossweiner throws a leg kick but Legstrong moved away.
Legstrong throws a lazy uppercut
letting Grossweiner counter with a right hand.
Grossweiner shoots in looking for a takedown. Legstrong tries to sprawl out of it but Grossweiner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Legstrong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Legstrong throws out a loose jab but Grossweiner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Grossweiner misses with a wild body shot.

Legstrong fails to land with a series of punches.

Sloppy strikes from Legstrong. Those never looked like landing.
Grossweiner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Legstrong throws out the jab.
Grossweiner throws a big counter combination but Legstrong scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've been hearing reports that Grossweiner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Legstrong lands an overhand right.
Legstrong throws the left hand but Grossweiner avoids the punch easily.
Grossweiner tries to work over Legstrong's front leg with a kick but Legstrong checks it.
Grossweiner fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Legstrong to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Legstrong looks to clinch but Grossweiner throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Legstrong taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
