Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Marques (ranked 3182 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Humperding (ranked 7177 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marques might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Raining Blood. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humperding drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Marques cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Marques counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Humperding thinking.

Humperding throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Marques counter with a right hand.
Marques swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Humperding takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Marques counters with a one-two to the body.

It looked like Marques was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Marques looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Humperding might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Arnold Humperding seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
