Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Papa John (ranked 5256 p4p, 537 weight class) and Timothy Rex (ranked 5171 p4p, 528 weight class). Timothy Rex will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John lands with a good body shot.
John fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rex looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
John scores with a leg kick.

Rex fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with John, pushing him back against the cage.
Rex misses with a punch on the inside.
Rex tried to land a shot to the body but connects with John's elbow.
Rex tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rex misses with a punch to the body.
Rex misses with the head strike.
Rex throws a head punch that misses.
John stalling in the clinch but Rex improves position.
Rex lands a good knee to the midsection. John won't want to take too many of those.
John stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Rex tried to land a shot to the body but connects with John's elbow.
John lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rex backwards.
Rex lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
