Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Ramierez (ranked 25419 p4p, 796 weight class) and Mike Quick (ranked 4287 p4p, 536 weight class). Ramierez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Its the end of the world as we know it. Mike Quick will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Quick lands but Ramierez takes it in his stride.

It looks like Hector Ramierez has been cut.
Quick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ramierez drives through and clinches with Quick against the cage.
Ramierez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ramierez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Quick is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Quick has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ramierez is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ramierez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Quick manages to circle out of the way.
Oh Ramierez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Quick moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ramierez seems to have got his legs back now.
Ramierez is breathing heavily.
Quick shoots in for a takedown but Ramierez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
BAM! Quick delivers a spinning backfist that drops Ramierez like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
