Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nazz Lee (ranked 2385 p4p, 270 weight class) and Mee Vattalles (ranked 2924 p4p, 324 weight class). Vattalles has chosen JVG - Matti & Teppo as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws the kick towards the body but Vattalles avoids it.
Vattalles tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lee throws a shot to the body.
Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vattalles at a distance.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Vattalles, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Vattalles shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Vattalles has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lee is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vattalles.
