The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kristus moves into the clinch successfully.
Boyd escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boyd really is a fat lump.
Kristus clinches.
Boyd is trying to break the clinch but Kristus is controlling him.
Kristus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kristus instigates a clinch.
Boyd can't break the clinch.
Kristus breaks the clinch.
Kristus pushes Boyd up against the cage in a clinch.
Kristus keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Boyd's efforts to push away.
Boyd breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kristus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boyd, pushing him back against the cage.
Kristus presses Boyd against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kristus scores with a nice hook to the head.
Boyd manages to break the clinch.
Boyd fails with the takedown
and Kristus counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Dennis Boyd has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kristus moves into the clinch successfully.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kristus.
Kristus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kristus takes the fight into the clinch.
Kristus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kristus drops Boyd with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boyd looks back up at him and smiles so Kristus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Boyd is rocked!
Boyd leaves his chin hanging out and Kristus seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Boyd crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Majmun Kristus!
