The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a head kick but Beasley moves out of range.
Beasley is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Joe.
Beasley checks a low kick from Joe.
Joe closes the distance and clinches up with Beasley, looking for a takedown. Joe pushes Beasley against the cage but Beasley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Joe throws a body punch but Beasley moves out of range.
Beasley tries to counter by clinching up but Joe breaks away and moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Joe or perhaps it was just good defense by Beasley, which made it look bad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Joe.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Money Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Joe has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Beasley has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well Joe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
