Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genjo works over Guzman's head and body with a nice combination.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Genjo.
Guzman bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Genjo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Guzman has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Genjo is on him like a limpet, forcing Guzman back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A right handed body shot lands from Guzman.
Guzman is working for takedown but Genjo is calmly controlling the position for now.
Guzman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Genjo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Genjo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Guzman is looking for a triangle but Genjo pushes his legs off easily.
Guzman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Genjo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guzman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Guzman shoots for a takedown but Genjo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny Guzman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Guzman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guzman wants it to stay on the feet.
Genjo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Guzman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Genjo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guzman's head.
Genjo forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Koki Genjo will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Genjo looks to land a combination but Guzman avoids it well.
Guzman fails with a takedown attempt.
Genjo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Genjo throws an off balance right hand
and Guzman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Genjo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Guzman on his heels. He'll look to pass Guzman's guard now, I'm sure.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Genjo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Genjo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Guzman to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Genjo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Guzman pulls down on the head and he's put Genjo to sleep! This one is all over!
