Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ciro Annunziata (ranked 3548 p4p, 290 weight class) and Laxa Tiv (ranked 3824 p4p, 313 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Annunziata digs a good hook to Tiv's body.
Tiv tries for a takedown but Annunziata sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tiv fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tiv shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Annunziata counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ciro Annunziata has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Laxa Tiv.

Annunziata has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tiv looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Annunziata fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tiv looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tiv avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've been informed that Tiv has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Tiv tries for a takedown but Annunziata circles away easily
letting Annunziata counter with a right hand.

Tiv bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Annunziata has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Laxa Tiv seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiv shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Tiv is rocked!
Annunziata circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Tiv to the canvas! Tiv doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Annunziata keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ciro Annunziata decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
