Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Smith (ranked 1885 p4p, 229 weight class) and Calvin Klein (ranked 2110 p4p, 258 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Calvin Klein!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Smith shoots in but Klein avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And Klein tries to counter it with a takedown but Smith pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Klein tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Klein manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Klein is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith dives in for a single leg takedown but Klein sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Smith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Klein winds up and cracks Smith with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Klein looks to land a strike but Smith avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Smith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klein can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Klein wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Klein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Smith is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Klein is aware though and is defending well.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Klein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Klein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Klein stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Klein!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Klein in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Smith tries to buck Klein off but Klein is having none of it.

Klein tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Klein is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Smith looks calm but he's in trouble here. Klein gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Smith is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Klein lets go of the hold and Smith can pop his arm back in it's socket.
