The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Neo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bennington stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Neo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bennington feinted with a counter takedown.

Bennington looking to score a takedown here. Neo is defending well but Bennington drives through and ends up in Neo's guard.

Bennington drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bennington jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Neo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bennington trying to control the position from guard on top but Neo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bennington is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Neo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bennington throws an elbow that misses. Neo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bennington 's guard. Nice move by Neo!
