The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson tries to close the distance and clinch but Grappler Worldwide swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Grappler Worldwide drops down looking for a counter takedown but Samson sprawls and moves away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grappler Worldwide postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Samson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Samson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grappler Worldwide. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
