Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between George Peterson (ranked 20435 p4p, 266 weight class) and Frank Nicolosi (ranked 3478 p4p, 130 weight class). Peterson comes to the ring accompanied by Rhyme Asylum - Poison Penmanship. Nicolosi has chosen A Fistful Of Dollars by Ennio Morricone as his entrance music. Frank Nicolosi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with George Peterson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Nicolosi!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson connects with a nice looking jab.
Peterson swings for the body but Nicolosi moves out of range.
Nicolosi tries to counter with a clinch but Peterson shakes him off and moves away.
Nicolosi lands a jab to the head.
Peterson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A lazy left from Peterson finds it's target.
Nicolosi's coach down at Touch Of Death Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nicolosi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A punch combination from Peterson misses.
Nicolosi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Peterson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Peterson defending well as Nicolosi loads up on a big left hand.
Nicolosi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nicolosi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Peterson. That did some damage!

Peterson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've been told by Peterson's head coaches at LOD: Better Alternative that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Nicolosi loads up on a big right hand but Peterson slips the punch.
Peterson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Peterson lands with an overhand left.
Peterson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Peterson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Nicolosi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.


It looks like George Peterson has been cut.
Nicolosi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nicolosi moves into range and connects with a jab.
A swing and a miss from Nicolosi.
The crowd cheers as Peterson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nicolosi doesn't seem phased though.

Nicolosi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Peterson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Peterson needs to keep his hands up - Nicolosi had a free shot at his head there.
Nicolosi throws a hook but Peterson blocks it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peterson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Peterson takes one on the button.
Peterson scoring well with a low kick there.
Nicolosi needs to keep his hands up - Peterson had a free shot at his head there.

Peterson defending well as Nicolosi loads up on a big left hand.
Peterson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nicolosi.
Peterson loads up on a big right hand but Nicolosi slips the punch.
Nicolosi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Peterson is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Nicolosi just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Peterson has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Frank Nicolosi!
Frank Nicolosi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
