Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Julz Asug (ranked 6349 p4p, 119 weight class) and Kota Okada (ranked 7478 p4p, 132 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julz Asug!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kota Okada!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okada lands a front kick to the face, that drops Asug to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
Asug with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Okada to score with a decent uppercut.
Asug is rocked!
Asug wants to clinch up but Okada keeps it at a distance.
Oh Asug is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A swing and a miss from Okada.
Sloppy strikes from Asug. Those never looked like landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Okada just misses with a punch to the body.
Okada connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Asug onto his butt! Asug bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Okada has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Asug is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Okada ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Asug out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kota Okada!
