Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Brian Burns (ranked 3096 p4p, 329 weight class) and Jamezdin Shraf (ranked 2873 p4p, 306 weight class). Burns kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. Shraf has chosen Road To Glory as his entrance music. Jamezdin Shraf acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jamezdin Shraf!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Shraf moves into range and clinches up with Burns.
Burns is looking to take this one to the mat.

Shraf changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Burns fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Shraf closes the distance and pushes Burns back into the ropes.

Burns drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shraf gets the underhooks and prevents it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shraf turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Shraf manages to end up in side control.

Burns is squirming around, avoiding Shraf's attempts to control the action.
Shraf takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Shraf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Burns is looking to escape.

Shraf wants to take Burns's back but he can't do it this time.

Shraf is working for a guillotine from mount but Burns frees his head quite easily.

Shraf has control of Burns's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Burns regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Shraf takes Burns's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Burns is in trouble.

Shraf is trying to stick to Burns's back but Burns is turning into Shraf. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Shraf's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Burns.

Burns avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Shraf has his foot on Burns's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Burns works his way back into a safe position though.

Burns drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shraf manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Burns has Shraf in his guard.

Burns is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Shraf rolls with it to try and escape but Burns cranks on the arm and Shraf is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
