Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Ruth (ranked 305 p4p, 44 weight class) and Rudi Dassler (ranked 672 p4p, 108 weight class). Ed Ruth is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruth misses with a few strikes there.

Ruth feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dassler sprawling to the canvas! Dassler rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ruth finish him?!

It looks like Rudi Dassler has been cut.
Dassler closes the distance and clinches up with Ruth, looking for a takedown. Dassler pushes Ruth against the cage but Ruth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dassler shoots for a double leg takedown but Ruth sprawls well. He's pushed Dassler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dassler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ruth sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dassler somewhat.
Ed Ruth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudi Dassler.
Ruth swings for the body but Dassler moves out of range.
