With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ghost Lightning!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning misses with a body shot.
Leagatius misses the shot to the body.
Lightning misses the shot to the body.
Leagatius waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lightning.
Leagatius throws a lazy uppercut
and Lightning counters with a right hand to the body.
Leagatius showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lightning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leagatius moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Ghost Lightning has been cut.
Lightning jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Lightning misses with a double jab
and Leagatius counters with an inside leg kick.
Leagatius takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lightning feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Leagatiuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Brutus Leagatius has been cut.
Leagatius misses with a looping left.
A telegraphed right hand from Leagatius misses the target.
Lightning throws an off balance right hand
and Leagatius cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A combination from Lightning does no damage.
Leagatius lands with a nice body kick.
Leagatius lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Brutus Leagatius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leagatius stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lightning is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lightning avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Despite the aggression on Lightning's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Leagatius drops Lightning with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lightning looks back up at him and smiles so Leagatius waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Leagatius dances in with a quick combination. Lightning is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Leagatius snaps Lightning's head back. Lightning stumbles backwards against the cage. Leagatius steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Lightning's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Lightning just didn't come prepared.
