Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Allan Omega (ranked 3596 p4p, 302 weight class) and Caol Dos (ranked 5034 p4p, 390 weight class). Omega comes to the cage accompanied by OMEGA NJPW. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allan Omega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caol Dos!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega stuffs the takedown attempt from Dos. Dos gets slowly back to his feet.
We've been told by Omega's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Omega looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Dos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dos takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dos swings for the body but Omega moves out of range.
Dos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Omega connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dos momentarily.

Dos clinches up against the cage.
Omega wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dos has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dos thuds his shin into the meat of Omega's side.
Dos throws a lazy uppercut
and Omega counters with a left to the body.
Dos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
As Dos looks to move away, Omega throws a big counter combo but Dos just gets out of the way.
Caol Dos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Dos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Omega throws an overhand right that lands on Dos's shoulder, as Dos tries to avoid the shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dos. Omega does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice defenses there by Omega.
Omega keeps the fight on the outside.
Omega went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Omega moves out of range of the body kick.
Dos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Omega sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dos somewhat.

Dos dives in for a single leg takedown but Omega sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Allan Omega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caol Dos.

It looked like Omega wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Dos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Omega but Omega pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Omega is looking to wear down Dos with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Omega throws a big counter combination but Dos scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Omega sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

A quick step to the side and Omega tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Allan Omega will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dos lands a left hand that snaps the head of Omega backwards.
A head punch on the inside from Dos fails to land.

Dos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Omega blocks a low kick nicely.
Omega jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Omega gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dos content to stall in guard here.
Caol Dos has got the better of the ground game so far.
Dos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Dos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Dos has hold of Omega's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Omega seems comfortable defending it but Dos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Omega is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Omega is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
