Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris White (ranked 4759 p4p, 501 weight class) and Cj McGregor (ranked 4234 p4p, 459 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris White !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cj McGregor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McGregor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. White is in McGregor's guard.
White sitting in guard, not really doing much.
McGregor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst White is controlling him.
White stands and throws McGregor's legs to the side, diving into side control.
White tries to move into full mount but can't pass McGregor's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White wants to control but McGregor is keeping him busy.
McGregor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

White is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McGregor has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
White lands with some vicious ground and pound - can McGregor hang on?

White jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… McGregor is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by McGregor and White has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

White decides to take the fight back to the feet.
McGregor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McGregor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed White momentarily.
White swings widly with a right hand
enabling McGregor to counter with a crisp jab.


White is rocked!
White misses with a lunging right hand
and McGregor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
White shoots and misses
and McGregor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
White seems to have got his legs back now.
White misses with a lunging right hand

McGregor misses with a two punch combination.
White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McGregor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McGregor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGregor is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Chris White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McGregor tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
McGregor takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
White sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
White wants to take McGregor's back here but McGregor is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
McGregor wants to try and get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

White get's back to his feet.
McGregor throws a right and a left that White avoids nicely.
White half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
McGregor pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces White back to the cage. McGregor follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White tries to score with a low kick but McGregor moves his leg out of the way.
McGregor lands a nice hook to White 's body. White takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
White throws a combination that misses

and McGregor counters with a nice right hand that sends White toppling to the canvas! White scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McGregor finish him?!

White shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than White was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
White tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
White is looking to take a break and control but McGregor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cj McGregor dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


McGregor throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.
White changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

McGregor drops White with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but White looks back up at him and smiles so McGregor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
McGregor leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
White misses with a hook to the body
and McGregor counters with a big right hand! Oh White is in trouble here! McGregor follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cj McGregor!
Our winner, Cj McGregor, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
