Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lugg (ranked 2880 p4p, 319 weight class) and Finn Calvero (ranked 2963 p4p, 328 weight class). Calvero has chosen I'm a Gnome as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Lugg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Finn Calvero!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lugg dives in for a single leg takedown but Calvero sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Calvero is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Lugg tries to keep at a distance but Calvero has taken the fight into the clinch.
Calvero lands with a short shot to the head.
Lugg is looking for a takedown.
Calvero stops a takedown attempt from Lugg.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Lugg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lugg is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Calvero is defending well.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Calvero creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Calvero tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Still in the clinch, Calvero scores with a nice short uppercut.

Calvero throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Luggs head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lugg is rocked!
Calvero creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lugg with a big uppercut! Lugg tries to clinch up but Calvero pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lugg to the mat! Lugg covers up and Calvero unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Finn Calvero!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Finn Calvero waved his t-shirt featuring Knockdown Clothes's logo in front of the cameras.
