Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evil Nixon (ranked 14 p4p, 2 weight class) and Tsoko Chikatchawan (ranked 23 p4p, 3 weight class). Chikatchawan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Animal kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon blocks a jab.
Nixon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A solid body kick from Chikatchawan.
Chikatchawan throws a front kick that sends Nixon stumbling back into the cage.
Nixon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Chikatchawan connects with a leg kick. Nixon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Nixon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chikatchawan.
The fighters circling - Chikatchawan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Tsoko Chikatchawan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nixon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nixon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nixon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Nixon drops Chikatchawan with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Chikatchawan! Nixon dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evil Nixon!
