PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Gotti (ranked 1091 p4p, 131 weight class) and Sni Probong (ranked 1133 p4p, 138 weight class). Probong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bodhi Mandala kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probong connects with a nice looking jab.
Probong has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Probong lands a jab.
Gotti lands a right hook to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Gotti. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gotti.
Gotti tries to clinch but Probong is having none of it.

and Probong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gotti misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gotti moves into range and connects with a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gotti. Probong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Probong tries to counter by closing the distance.
Gotti dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gotti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Probong makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Probong's corner calls for a 1-2. Probong obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Probong throws a hook to the side of Gotti's head but Gotti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gotti is looking to counter punch.

Gotti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Probong moves away.

Sni Probong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gotti has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Julius Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Don Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gotti comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gotti doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gotti takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Probong lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Gotti falls backwards - clearly groggy! Probong dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

A relieved looking Sni Probong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
