ORC Submission Grappling 3 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Shunsui Kyoraku (ranked 3366 p4p, 361 weight class) and Rupert Whiston (ranked 4930 p4p, 488 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Shunsui Kyoraku! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 8 losses; Rupert Whiston!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Kyoraku stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kyoraku wants it to stay on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whiston goes for a double leg but Kyoraku avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Kyoraku continues to drive forward.

Whiston closes the distance and clinches up with Kyoraku, looking for a takedown. Whiston pushes Kyoraku against the ropes but Kyoraku circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
