Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Marston (ranked 1909 p4p, 228 weight class) and Alvey Kulina (ranked 3668 p4p, 371 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Marston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alvey Kulina!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulina doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marston misses with a wild body shot.
Kulina swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kulina throws a leg kick
and Kulina takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Alvey Kulina has been cut.
Kulina throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marston counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Marston steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kulina.
Marston's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kulina connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marston scrambles back to his feet.
Marston throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Marston fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Marston defending well as Kulina loads up on a big left hand.
Marston swings for the body but Kulina moves out of range.
It seemed like Kulina was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kulina missing with a left hand there. Marston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Marston misses with an uppercut.
Marston looks to throw the jab but Kulina is out of range.

Marston has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Devil Dogs in the buildup to the fight.
Kulina throws an overhand right that lands on Marston's shoulder, as Marston tries to avoid the shot.
Marston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marston wants it to stay on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulina ducks under a wild hook from Marston.
Kulina has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Marston throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kulina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kulina takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kulina is rocked!
Kulina fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marston on the side of the head.
Kulina is still on wobbly legs! Can Marston finish him?
Marston leaves Kulina with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kulina seems to have recovered his senses.
Kulina misses with a double jab
and Marston counters with a nice right hand that sends Kulina toppling to the canvas! Kulina scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marston finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marston feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kulina sprawling to the canvas! Kulina rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marston finish him?!
Marston fakes the body blow, causing Kulina to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kulina goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Marston!
After winning the bout, John Marston thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
