The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Sosa. Those never looked like landing.
Sosa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Montalto has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It looks like Brian Montalto has been cut.
Montalto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Sosa drops Montalto with a beautiful combination! Montalto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sosa is looking for the KO!

Montalto is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Montalto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sosa.
Oh Montalto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sosa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Montalto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sosa somewhat.
Montalto appears to be looking for a big counter.
Montalto seems to have got his legs back now.
Montalto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sosa as he avoids it easily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Sosa has cracked Montalto with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Sosa lands another huge swinging hook and Montalto tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Montalto, before Sosa can land any more shots!
