Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taryn Terrell!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Terrell clinches up with Mcintyre and pushes him back against the cage.
Mcintyre goes for a takedown in the clinch but Terrell prevents it.
Mcintyre is looking to break free of the clinch but Terrell has double underhooks.
Mcintyre really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Terrell is trying to drag Mcintyre to the mat but Mcintyre just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mcintyre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Terrell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mcintyre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Terrell decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Terrell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mcintyre manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Terrell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mcintyre but Mcintyre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Terrell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mcintyre avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Terrell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Terrell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
