The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bloom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maa circles away quickly and effectively.

Bloom cracks Maa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Maa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bloom misses with a straight left.
Bloom clobbers Maa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bloom has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
A combination from Bloom does no damage.
Maa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Maa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bloom walks away with a smile on his face. Maa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bloom keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bloom ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Maa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bloom's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bloom is looking to stand back up but Maa counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bloom.

Maa postures up in Bloom's guard and throws a big left but Bloom blocks it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bloom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maa was well out of range. Poor timing from Bloom.
Maa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bloom.
Maa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Maa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bloom. Maa does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bloom throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Maa on the side of the head.
