Flannery has chosen Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Desmond Flannery has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Desmond Flannery!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannery fails with the takedown.
Flannery tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brown swivels and escapes.
Flannery's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Flannery scrambles back to his feet.
Flannery avoids the head kick by Brown.
And Flannery tries to counter it with a takedown but Brown pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dj Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desmond Flannery.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Brown lands a left and a right that send Flannery crashing to the mat, dazed. Brown thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Flannery is rocked!

It looks like Desmond Flannery has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Flannery switches off momentarily and Brown cracks him with a monster right hand! Flannery topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Brown dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Brown!
